About Us

Active Fishing Systems has been working on the Ice Rigger™ rod tender since 1998. We have changed the design several times to make it practical and simple to use. The size of the unit is 3 1/2” X 18”, approximately the same size as a Tip-Up. We designed the Ice Rigger™ to be fished with an open bail so those light hitting Walleye would take the bait without feeling any resistance, and it works! Similar products on the market today use the quick set system that triggers when a fish hits the bait and not the hook.

Our system gives the fish time to eat!
